100 Club
The 100 club was started to assist with fund raising for capital projects for the village hall. Today there are 77 members each contributing £12 per year per ball. It is possible to have more than one ball in the draw for multiples of this amount - the more balls - the greater the chance of winning! The 100 Club is a huge contributory effort by our villagers and the support from the village is very much appreciated by our village hall management committee. Of course, you don't have to be a resident to join. Support from non-resident 'friends of Chilton Foliat' are also most welcome! Please click here if you are interested in joining the 100 Club
The rules of the club are simple with 50% of the income awarded in prize money, and 50% given to the village hall, all in accordance with gaming commission regulations.
Each draw consists of £100. This is made up by one £50 and two £25 prizes.
With the help of funding from the 100 Club, the Village Hall has been able to buy new tables, new chairs, the bricks in the porch have been replaced and re-pointed, safety screens have been installed on the inside of the glass windows and £300 has been donated for the Defibrilator Fund for the village.
