Meeting friends and making new ones is always fun and at WI you will always find a warm welcome, a friendly face and someone to share your troubles with. Not to mention a good cup of tea! (or sometimes something stronger!) |

One of the main aims of the WI is education and at Chilton Foliat we have an annual bursary of £100 * to help towards any member taking part in a course at Denman College. The list is endless, so no matter what your interests are, there is a course to suit you (* as funds allow)

Monthly meetings take place in the village hall every 2nd Thursday starting at 7:30pm. But don’t worry if you can’t remember, you will receive a monthly newsletter either delivered to your door or via e mail detailing the next meeting and all other offers of tours or courses from county federation. There are also some competitions just a bit of fun and never too taxing.And if you have transport problems we can even arrange that too. |

Our AGM is always in February when the new committee is voted in by the members. The annual subscriptions are due at the AGM and the fees for 2011 will be £30.00 per person. Visitors are always welcome to come on an ‘ad hoc’ basis for a small donation to WI funds. If you would like to join as a full member, October is by far the best month to join, as you will get a full 15 months before your next subs are due!! |
 Do you have a bright idea? Do you have a talent you wish to pursue? Our WI is always looking for different speakers / demonstrators to attend our meetings and we would love to discuss any bright ideas you may have to entertain or to educate our members and their guests. |
