Tracy welcomes you to a bright, airy pub with tasty,
authentic pub food with a difference. They've redecorated it
extensively, and the atmosphere is very welcoming.
It says
on the menu that it's a menu of traditional favourites, with special
options on the blackboard. Well, that's true, but it's a bit
modest. The blackboard menu is mouth-watering, and changes all
the time. The pub-grub menu features favourites like sandwiches, baguettes,
rarebits, ploughman's and jacket potatoes with a great variety of
fillings. Then there are hot favourites like Plaice, scampi, batter
cod and gammon steak. And don't forget the ever-changing blackboard.
All of it is freshly
cooked by Tracy and, very importantly, it's all very reasonably
priced.
Wednesday night is Quiz
Night at 8.30. Bring your own team, or join in with one of the many
at the pub. You will be very welcome.
The village has its own gossip
column, much of which stems from conversations in the pub. Click
here to read it.
